As is known, nationalistic and conservative feelings in many parts of the world from east to west mainly based on ethnical, racial and cultural diversities are getting stronger day by day, and as a result of this the racist and exclusivist discourses are mounting against the refugees, foreign workers and diverse ethnical and religious groups. Both radicalism and hard-liner religious understandings that include intolerance, hatred and prejudice appear as potential troubles against founding a peaceful future for humanity. It is sad to see that we experience day by day the examples of hatred and prejudice against Islam and the Muslims.

Especially. mass media attack on Islam gradually increases and anti Islamic feelings and attitude become so influential on public understanding of the Muslims that ordinary people, especially in the Western countries, somehow consider every Muslim as almost a potential guilty. Even the main reference of this religion, the Qur’an, and the Prophet of Islam are accepted as pro-violence and against the peace. As a result of this, islamophobia based on hatred and prejudice against Islam and the Muslims is getting widespread in the West, provoking the majority against the Muslim minorities.
